This is the attraction that connect you between American Water Fron theme park and Port Discovery theme park.
There is no age and height restriction in this attraction so everybody can enjoy. Also, Electric Railway is operated in rainy days, you don't have to worry about it.
The duration is about 2 minutes and 30 seconds for one way. 42 passengers can be aboard for one trip.
Highilights
1. Wonderful Scenery
The best part of this attraction is to enjoy the scenery from train windows. This attraction is not high enough to overlook the entire park though it is enough for feel the park scenery from differnt viewpoint. Especially, I recommend you to ride this attraction after sunset because I hope you can enjoy fantastic scenery.
2. Shortening the amout of time
This attraction has a potential that allows you to reduce transfer time. It takes you considerable time to walk between American Water Front and Port Discovery. I think the distance is much further than you thought. However, this attraction takes you only 2 minutes and 30 seconds to transfer. Of course, you should be careful about the waiting time if you really want to use this attraction just for reducing the amount of time.
3. Hidden Mickey
There is a huge painting in Port Discovery Station. In that building, there are as much as 8 hidden mickeys. Can you find all of them? You should try it during waiting the train.
Notice; There is no painting cantains hidden mickey in American Water Front Station.
4. Connecting you 2 different theme park
American Water Front is set in New York the beginning of the 20th century. So you can enjoy historical buildings in this theme park. On the other hand, Port Discovery is set in near future world, so you can feel somthing new.
This railway connects you between two different theme park, why don't you compare those two?
Here is an intersting feature. Some people might think Electric Railway is a kind of old train. It is true. This train makes a sound and you can hear its wheel squeaking. This phenomena is unimaginable with all our curent technology. That menas these features are made on purpose. Creators of this attraction use these features on purpose, letting us to feel New York in 20th century.
Location
There are two station in this attraction. One is in American Water Front, which is lower left side of Tokyo Disney Sea. This station is made by brick, so you can easily find it. The other is in Port Discovery, which is upper left side of Tokyo Disney Sea. This station is above the restaurant called Horizon Bay.
The top map is the station in American Water Front and the bottom is the one in Port Discovery.
Waiting time
The waiting time for this attraction is relaticely little compared to other famous attractions in Tokyo Disney Sea. Usually, it takes you about 20 to 30 minutes to ride.
The very after opening the park, the waiting time for American Water Front Station tends to be longer because guests try to go further from American Water Front to Port Discovery. On the other hand, before closing the park, the waiting time for Port Discovery tends to be greater because guests want to go to American Water Front, which is near entrance.
In that sense, you had better get on the train around morning from Port Discovery, noon for both ways, and evening from American Water Front.
However, I think there is not so much significant difference between normal and rush hours.
